This course will further explore the elements of art and principles of design and how they are used to create drawings. Students will expand their drawing techniques, including but not limited to hatching, cross hatching, scumbling, stippling, and blending, with a focus on how they are used to create value, form, and texture in a drawing. Relevant artists/movements will be investigated as students enhance their abilities to discuss and critique artwork.

Video Game Design
In Video Game Design with Unity 3D®, students will use Unity 3D® to develop an interactive application or video game. Unity 3D® is a standard in interactive game development, from console and PC, to mobile platforms. Learners completing all components of study will gain a broad understanding of what is involved in the creation of interactive applications and video games; from concept inception to final release. In addition to gaining proficiency using the Unity 3D® Engine, students will learn to write macros for Unity 3D® using the C# programming language. Students will create an application or game aligned with their interests.
