Please consider taking some time (approx 45 minutes) out of your day on Thursday, April 16th between 8am and 1pm to donate blood at the NHS Fall Blood Drive.
Your blood donation can save up to THREE lives! I know that most, if not all, of us have been touched by someone who has needed blood at some point. If you know someone who has had surgery, been in an accident or experienced a physical trauma, someone who has/had cancer, someone who has Sickle Cell Disease, someone with a chronic disease, etc., then you know someone who has needed blood. I have attached some common questions and concerns about donating blood. These flyers will answer and address all of them.
On the day of your donation, you must be well fed, well hydrated, and well rested. You can earn a $15 Amazon Gift Card. You must be 16 years old to donate with a parent’s permission. Permission forms can be found in room 313. Please reach out to Ms. Younger if you have any questions.
