| Please consider taking some time (approx 45 minutes) out of your day on Thursday, April 16th between 8am and 1pm to donate blood at the NHS Fall Blood Drive. Your blood donation can save up to THREE lives! I know that most, if not all, of us have been touched by someone who has needed blood at some point. If you know someone who has had surgery, been in an accident or experienced a physical trauma, someone who has/had cancer, someone who has Sickle Cell Disease, someone with a chronic disease, etc., then you know someone who has needed blood. I have attached some common questions and concerns about donating blood. These flyers will answer and address all of them. On the day of your donation, you must be well fed, well hydrated, and well rested. You can earn a $15 Amazon Gift Card. You must be 16 years old to donate with a parent’s permission. | Show your support and help spread an important message! The 515 building Aevidum Club is selling t-shirts for $15, and all proceeds will go right back to our school to support programs that raise mental health awareness and teach healthy coping skills for students. The shirt design says it all: A handprint on the front symbolizes support and connection. “Aevidum – I’ve Got Your Back” on the back as a reminder that no one has to face challenges alone. ORDERS ARE DUE BY 4/24 to Sr. Gonzalez or Mr. Morelli. CASH ONLY. Money must be turned in first to receive a shirt.  |
| The NHS Food Drive has begun. NHS students will be collecting canned, nonperishable food during lunch from Wednesday April 8 to Wednesday April 22. For every food item donated, you will get one raffle ticket to enter to win a $25 Chick Fil A gift card. Please not that we will not be collecting glass and all items must have an expiration date of July 2026 or later. |
